IAPS – Institute for Appraisals and Property Studies (alb: IVSP – Instituti për Vlerësime dhe Studime Pronësore) is a not-for-profit association, according to the definition given by article 5.2 and 6 of Law No. 04/L-57, on Freedom of Association in Non-Governmental Organizations in Republic of Kosovo.
IVSP has been established and is being managed by pioneers of property rights experts in Kosovo. IAPS/IVSP Institute mission is to “lead the appraisal profession in Kosovo by promoting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society”. High ethical standards are critical to maintaining the public’s trust in the market and in the appraisal profession. IAPS/IVSP Institute has brought together a large number of professionals and experts of property rights. We do have excellent cooperation with major stakeholders on the property rights sector. We work closely with the Board for Licensing Valuators, Central Bank of Kosovo, Kosovo Bank Association, Basic Courts and International Donors community.
Our objective is to implement projects that will improve property rights in Kosovo. Since “Property rights” is a very brought term, IVSP will be focused on these three specific objectives:
